Enter the Dragon

Enter the Dragon (Robert Clouse, 1973) - or Moeyo doragon! in Japanese - was the first of Bruce Lee's films released in Japan. Kinnia Yau Shuk-ting (2007) has observed that the film was thematically and stylistically closer to James Bond films than to Lee's earlier pictures; moreover, especially given producer Raymond Chow's inability to get Fist of Fury (Lo Wei, 1972) released in Japan, Yau attributes Enter the Dragon's Japanese distribution to the fact that it entered Japan not as a Hong Kong film, but as a Hollywood film on the Warner Bros theatrical circuit.
